This Zweigelt Classique represents a more structured interpretation of Austria’s signature red grape variety, while maintaining the characteristic freshness that makes Zweigelt so appealing. The wine shows impressive aging potential, offering enjoyment both in its youth and over a five-year window. The vines are planted in loamy gravel soils, which contribute to the wine’s structure and depth while maintaining good drainage for optimal root development.

In the glass, the wine displays an attractive dark ruby-garnet color with distinctive violet highlights. The nose reveals concentrated black cherry aromas complemented by subtle herbal spice notes typical of well-ripened Zweigelt. The palate demonstrates a fresh, well-structured character with abundant juicy plum flavors and excellent fruit concentration.
