Gelber Muskateller Ried Krepskogel 2023

It smells of elderflower and gently of rose and lemongrass. The fruit is elegantly restrained, yet substantial, creamy, and stony. It has a sure potential for development for ten years or more.

The Krepskogel is the southernmost part of the Pössnitzberg and, at an altitude of 440 to 515 meters with its 55 percent slope, can only be cultivated by hand. The nearby forest and the orientation of the site protect against large temperature extremes.

The wine is harvested at high ripeness and ferments in large acacia wood, where it develops on the lees for a whole year.
