Tinazzi Campo delle Rose Bardolino Chiaretto 2022
This wine is ready to be enjoyed now – no need to decant!
This wonderful family business began in the 1960s on the shores of Lake Garda in Cavaion Veronese, where Eugenio Tinazzi established his small winery to produce and sell local wines. When his son Gian Andrea joined the company, Tinazzi embarked on a period of significant growth, expanding into the main Valpolicella areas and eventually acquiring new estates in Puglia. Today, the third generation, Francesca and Giorgio, work alongside Gian Andrea in the family business.
This lively Bardolino Chiaretto is a classic blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes from Tenuta Valleselle, a 12-hectare vineyard nestled in the beautiful hills of the Bardolino Classico region. After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and undergo a short period of skin contact, which gives the wine its lovely pearly pink color. Fermentation lasts for about two weeks at a controlled temperature, followed by aging in steel tanks.
This wine has a delicate pink hue and offers sweet and intense aromas of fresh red fruit, especially raspberries and cherries. On the palate, it’s refreshing, like a summer breeze. The finish is long and less sweet than the initial taste might suggest.
It pairs wonderfully with tuna, salmon, and pork, making it the perfect choice for a BBQ with friends.
