Tinazzi Ca de Rocchi Ista Pinot Grigio 2022
This Pinot Grigio is best enjoyed now or within the next few years. There’s no need to decant it.
The Tinazzi family’s winemaking domain stretches from the shores of Lake Garda in the northeast all the way to Taranto in the south of Italy. This family business, spanning three generations, was founded in 1968 by Eugenio Tinazzi. Today, it’s run by his son Gian Andrea, along with his two children, Giorgio and Francesca.
While the heart of the Tinazzi empire lies in Lazise, Veneto, the winery is constantly growing and evolving. They own numerous estates and cellars throughout Veneto and Puglia, and have recently expanded into Tuscany.
This Pinot Grigio hails from the scenic shores of Lake Garda and is bursting with flavors of yellow fruits, complemented by tropical hints of melon and a subtle citrus touch. A fresh bouquet of peach, yellow apple, exotic pineapple, and white flowers emerges from the glass. This wine is not meant for aging and should be enjoyed young. This vintage is elegant and smooth, with a long finish that leaves a delightfully fresh impression. It’s perfect as an aperitif or paired with a main course. Enjoy it with appetizers like focaccia or alongside any kind of seafood.
