Dark, intense aromas of black cherries, cardamom, sweet tobacco, and espresso with a touch of perfume rise from the glass. Complex and juicy, the Chocolate Block shows on the palate and presents elegant nuances of ripe plums, violets, black olives, cloves, and licorice. The cocoa notes nestle softly against the tannin and live up to the name.

Syrah plays the first fiddle in this cuvée with 77%, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Viognier round off this complex wine excellently. Noble, balanced, and multifaceted.
