Tement Sauvignon Blanc Ried Zieregg Kapelle 2020

Directly above the Tement winery lies the Zieregg Kapelle vineyard, where about 7000 Sauvignon Blanc vines grow on 1.48 hectares. The high plateau at 470 meters above sea level is bathed in sunshine all day long but surrounded by a cooling forest mantle. The soil consists of heavy clay and loam on coral limestone. The wine is aged in used 700-liter barrels.

Zieregg Kapelle is a graceful and puristic, juicy Sauvignon Blanc with deep flint spice and dark, cool fruit. Emphasized red berry notes, with a fine texture, lime notes, salty accents, and a hint of capers, it shows focus and tightness.
