Querschnitt Grüner Veltliner & Co 2023

The cuvée, composed mainly of Grüner Veltliner and Chardonnay, with some Muscat Ottonel and Welschriesling, represents a cross-section of the soils around Neckenmarkt and Horitschon, combining the characteristics of limestone, loam, and mica schist. The grapes were harvested separately and gently vinified. Spontaneous fermentation and working with gravity and large barrels result in a fresh, elegant wine with fine bread dough aromas, apple fruit, notes of lemon soufflé, and delicately smoky nuances in the finish.
