Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc 2022

The Pouilly-Fumé appellation in the Loire Valley got its name from the flint-strewn limestone soils, which also give the wines a corresponding smoky note. This is subtle in La Perrière, skillfully integrated into the exotic nuances of pineapple, apricot, and quince, and gives the wine complexity. A harmonious Sauvignon Blanc that still does not lack tension, mineral, and with a pleasant creaminess.
