Lodge Hill Shiraz 2020

Juicy notes of blackberries, plums, cherries, and blueberries set the tone here, accompanied by earthy aromas, cocoa, licorice, and a hint of basil. Round tannins and an appealing acidity give it the liveliness that has already won it numerous national awards.

Lodge Hill is mainly planted with Riesling, with the exception of the warmer north-facing slope. Here, Shiraz grows on a soil with about 50 cm of loam over grey schist. From this, it draws its juiciness, while the aspect gives it ripeness.
