Spicy and balanced, with aromas of dark berries and chocolate accents, the price-performance icon from Penfolds not only shines with fleshiness and soft tannin structure but also with great aging potential. This is still evident today in the first vintage of Koonunga Hill Cabernet Shiraz, which was then labeled with the addition of Claret, and to which the current nickname of the cuvée has been paying tribute since its 30th anniversary in 2006.
