Huber Riesling Ried Rothenbart 2022

Markus Huber’s complex single-vineyard Riesling Rothenbart comes from one of his most unique sites, which takes its name from its reddish soil with high iron content. At 380 meters above sea level, it is also one of the highest vineyards in the Traisental.

The grapes come from organic cultivation and were whole-bunch pressed before their juice was fermented in steel tanks and aged for 8 months on the fine lees. The multifaceted fruit, the powerful acid structure, and the great length give the wine great potential for development.
