Gaja – Sito Moresco Langhe 2021 Italy Piedmont

This wine was originally designed as a Piedmontese response to the Super Tuscan movement. However, in 2020, the Gaja family decided to make a significant change. They removed the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from the blend, choosing instead to focus solely on the indigenous Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes.

This shift has resulted in a wine that is more agile and streamlined, yet still retains a rich and powerful character. It’s a beautiful expression of Piedmontese terroir, crafted with the signature elegance that Gaja is renowned for.
