Domaine Raymond Usseglio is a family-run estate with deep roots in the Southern Rhône Valley. Their vineyards span 5 hectares in the Côtes du Rhône appellation and 18 hectares within the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape region.

Stéphane Usseglio, grandson of the estate’s founder Francis, has been at the helm since 1999. Under his leadership, Domaine Raymond Usseglio has become renowned for its exceptional Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines, producing a range of 4 reds and 3 whites. This particular wine is their classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape expression, a powerful red blend led by Grenache, with supporting roles played by Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Counoise, and Syrah.

This wine pours a deep garnet color with hints of violet. On the nose, it offers enticing aromas of dark forest fruits, tobacco, and subtle black licorice. Fermented and aged entirely in concrete vats to preserve the purity of the fruit, it’s luscious and mouth-filling, with flavors of plum and cherry complemented by hints of chocolate and ripe tannins. A subtle sweetness lingers through the long finish, making it a quintessential Châteauneuf-du-Pape experience.
