Ripe fruit notes combine with the cool, slate-based Wohlmuth style to create a wonderfully precise, elegant, and immensely enjoyable Chardonnay. The slate wines of the Wohlmuth family captivate with a tension between the climatically induced warmth, in which the grapes can fully ripen, and the coolness of the high altitude, the barren slate soils, and the alpine influences. Meticulous handwork in the vineyard results in spicy, complex, finesse-rich wines with firm minerality.
