With a rich history tracing back to 1831, Albert Bichot winery is an indispensable destination on a journey to the heart of Burgundy. Renowned for its exceptional quality wines, the winery is currently in its sixth generation under the skilled guidance of Albéric Bichot.

Over time, Maison Albert Bichot has acquired parcels of land in some of Burgundy’s most prestigious appellations. These include Gevrey-Chambertin, Chablis, and the origin of this wine, the AOC appellation of Domaine du Pavillon, nestled between Pommard and Volnay. The grapes for this wine are cultivated on Middle Jurassic-era clay soil, in the Premier Cru vineyard of “Les Brouillards.”

These premium soils yield truly remarkable Burgundy Pinot Noir. “Les Brouillards” is brimming with aromas of cherry, raspberry, and delicate spices like cinnamon and star anise. On the palate, it achieves a harmonious balance of softness and invigorating acidity. Anticipate flavors of black cherry, plum, and currant, exquisitely complemented by hints of vanilla and toasted oak. Time will unveil further complexity, making it an ideal companion for flavorful cheeses. It will also pair splendidly with rich yet refined dishes, such as roasted quail, roast vegetables, or lightly seasoned meats.
